Frequently Asked Questions

Here, you’ll find clear and helpful answers to common questions about my life coaching services. I aim to help students and young professionals like you discover your purpose, set achievable goals, and unlock your full potential. Don’t hesitate to reach out with any further questions.

What exactly does a life coach do?

A life coach helps individuals identify their goals, overcome obstacles, and create actionable plans to achieve success. My role is to guide you in finding your purpose, setting clear objectives, and providing the tools and support you need to make your aspirations a reality.

How can life coaching benefit me as a student/young professional?

Life coaching can help you gain clarity on your career path, improve your time management skills, and build confidence. For students, it can aid in academic performance and career planning. For young professionals, coaching can enhance career development, work-life balance, and personal growth.

What is the difference between a life coach and a therapist?

A therapist focuses on mental health and often addresses past issues and trauma. A life coach, on the other hand, is future-focused and works on personal and professional development. My coaching services are designed to help you set and achieve your goals, rather than addressing psychological issues.

How do I know if I need a life coach?

If you feel stuck, lack direction, or need help in achieving your goals, a life coach can be beneficial. Whether you are looking to improve your academic performance, start a new career, or achieve a better work-life balance, coaching can provide the support and strategies you need.

What should I expect from a coaching session?

Each session typically lasts between 45 minutes to an hour. We will start by discussing your goals and challenges, then work on developing a customized plan of action. You will leave each session with clear steps to take and a sense of direction and motivation.

Sessions vs. Programs

I refer to my coaching session as a program. A coaching session is a single, focused meeting where we tackle a small specific goal or challenge, providing you with actionable steps and insights for immediate progress.

On the other hand, my coaching programs are a structured series of sessions designed for long-term development. It offers continuous support, in-depth guidance, and a comprehensive plan to help you achieve your broader objectives.

How long does it take to see results from coaching?

The timeline for seeing results varies depending on your goals and commitment. Some clients notice improvements within a few sessions, while others may take a few months. Consistency and active participation in the coaching process are key to achieving the best results.

Can coaching help me if I'm unsure about my purpose or career path?

Absolutely! One of the primary benefits of coaching is helping you discover your talents, strengths, passions, and the career path that aligns with them. We will work together to explore your interests, values, and skills to identify a fulfilling career direction.

Is life coaching confidential?

Yes, confidentiality is a cornerstone of my coaching practice. Your privacy and trust are of utmost importance, and all our discussions will remain strictly confidential. However, if you participate in a group sessions you will be sharing your information with others in the group.

What are your qualifications as a life coach?

I am a certified life coach with experience in helping individuals find their purpose and achieve their goals. I have worked with students and young professionals to guide them towards success, and I continuously update my skills and knowledge to provide the best coaching services possible.

FAQ

I would love to work with you, but first I need you to know…

I begin each session with a prayer, asking God to be present and help guide us.

As a certified Integrative Wellness Life Coach, I act as a tour guide to help you get from where you are in life to where you want to be in life. This is a DO WITH process, not a DO TO or DO FOR process. My role is not that of a “fixer.”

My role is to equip you with the tools to get unstuck, bridge the gap between your struggles and your goals, and grow towards harmony within your mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual systems.

I help my clients heal core issues and negative patterns while empowering them to change their life with effective tools, techniques, and specific action plans.

  • If you’re looking for girl talk. Go talk to your best friend. It’s way more fun.
  • You’re not 100% committed and not willing to be honest, transparent, or do the work.
  • If you don’t want to make a real investment in yourself, you’re not going to like my offerings.

  • If you only want to address the symptoms and not the root cause, my approach may not align with your needs.
